About Us

Laxmi Global School is a unique Cambridge International school located at Valsad district, South Gujarat. Lapped in the cradle of nature, we are spread over a lush green scenic and serene 120 Acres campus. The campus can be accessed by a 2 Hrs journey from Mumbai International Airport & Surat City. LGS is situated at the tranquillity of Laxmi Vidyapeeth, a campus away from the crowd of the city. For enhanced mobility, LGS operate its fleet to all major nearby towns. Laxmi Global School already enjoys a reputation for academic excellence in South Gujarat due to its affiliation with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). CAIE programs and qualifications are offered by the University of Cambridge, UK, one of the world’s oldest and most renowned universities. Currently, Laxmi Global School is the first and only Cambridge affiliated school in Valsad district. Laxmi Global School prepares students for IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and AS & A Levels (Year 11 & Year 12) respectively. The theoretical framework of the school is based upon an experiential, constructivist approach in which the learners are looked upon as architects of their own learning experience.

The theoretical framework of the school is based upon an experiential, constructivist approach in which the learners are looked upon as architects of their own learning experience. Through our project-based approach, learning is guided not by subjects but by challenges and the need to overcome them. Through an understanding and application of these educational frameworks, the school offers liberal education to its students.

Pedagogy

Our pedagogy is experiential and utilizes all five senses, space and movement and makes optimal use of human and material resources within the learner’s surrounding. Learners construct their projects and confront problems that help them develop creative problem solving a much needed skill in later life. Active learning pedagogy and methodology are the core competencies of the school

Teaching Methodology

The teaching methodology includes tools such as the Smart board, Laptops, Montessori material, theatre, multimedia, sports, technology etc to engage the learners with different learning styles and abilities.

The body and the senses are an important tool and the classroom pedagogy incorporates this dimension for a holistic learning.

Music, painting, dance, games are used as an approach to learning the content, art is not divorced from academics but an integral vector to learn it.
