Professional Development For Teachers
We believe that supporting teachers in their professional development leads to improved outcomes for learners. Good-quality training and reflective professional development are essential parts of a teacher’s professional life. We offer a number of routes for teachers according to their experience and needs, ranging from subject-specific training to professional development qualifications.
Our approach to professional development and training supports teachers to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. All teachers of Laxmi Global School undertake training conducted by CIE in their respective subjects.
CIE offer regular training courses for Cambridge Primary, Secondary, IGCSE and A level syllabuses. They can choose from a range of face-to-face, online and webinar events. Training builds the knowledge and skills you need to help your learners succeed with Cambridge.
Also, a secured Teacher Support site for Cambridge teachers is available. Here they find all the materials needed to teach our syllabuses, including past question papers, mark schemes, examiner reports, lesson plans and schemes of work. They also talk to our subject experts and other Cambridge teachers in the discussion forums.
Workshop For Teachers
Whoever teaches learns in the act of teaching, and whoever learns teaches in the act of learning
Workshop are an integral part of the teaching-learning process at LGS. The school regularly arranges workshops for teachers as part of their professional development and for student to expose them to new educational concepts.
Before the start of academic year, teachers undergo a Teacher Training workshop to get exposed to new techniques and methods of academic planning and teaching. Learning and practical implementation of the knowledge acquired go hand in hand. The school gives the teachers a platform to be innovative and creative while applying the new teaching methods in the classroom.
