Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Charitable Trust, Surat.
Having started a diamond business named Laxmi Diamond, in 70’s and scaling great heights by being a DTC Sight holder, with 18 offices across the world the trustees have believed that the real utility of money and wealth along with profits earned are meaningless, unless a substantial part of it is ploughed back and re-invested to uplift the marginalized and to develop the country. They have accepted modern advancements in Academics and Technology to shape citizens. Now the Trust sets up Laxmi Global School by believing and giving way to power of possibilities.
The Trust established in 1997, has helped in the educational, cultural, medical and social upliftment of this segment within the community and to give them all the assistance required, to make individuals stand on their own feet. To this end they have now established 9 campuses, more than 18 schools, orphanage with old age homes and 7 colleges in the state of Gujarat. It has provided education to more than 58,000 students. The institutes have catered to providing quality education and stressed on the KG to PG concepts with national and international curriculum being facilitated in these institutes of learning. All this have been intrinsic to achieving quality the world has come to expect.
The new initiative of the Trust is reaching out to the people of Surat by bringing in the Laxmi Global School on the other side of the city, crossing the Tapi River, in Pal, Adajan. It is located in a residential area, good infrastructure, global initiatives and making it an easily accessible educational institute, with suggested CBSE and CBSE-i. The school is created to promote excellence and for the welfare of the nation.

The excellence in learning is the effort to teach young minds to learn and work well. We at LGS are committed to personal excellence of each individual. I believe that being able to provide access to education and good learning centres, helps a society progress. The school is operated by the Trust that has been working on providing quality education since 1997. It is providing education to more than 58,000 students at present. The Trust that started by contributing towards social welfare has grown from strength to strength and has been successful in providing good educational opportunities to so many students in different areas in Gujarat. The task was arduous but yet the trustees first considered using their resources in Education for upliftment of society across all levels.
Laxmi Global School, shall aim at equipping the students with a holistic and meaningful education with strong values for a developed personality. We place strong emphasis on the ability of students to integrate knowledge across different disciplines and to develop their skills. The school shall provide an environment of high academic excellence to help young minds learn and achieve their goals.
I am grateful to the many clients, staff working with us and more importantly the students, who have helped the Trust, fulfill the dream that was set up in memory of my parents.
In life like in business I have kept an open mind and set high standards and associated with the power of possibilities. Having been associated with the diamond business and having started Laxmi Diamond I have always believed that just as a diamond is known by its characteristics, an individual too is known by its characteristics that can be facilitated well by good academics.
I shall provide all opportunities to make learning interesting by helping them realize the power of possibilities and help each child develop their personality.

We aim to provide sound and quality education that will get our students ready to take on the world of tomorrow. To attain our goal, we lay out an intellectually challenging and conducive environment, one which will develop their
creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
